Bringing the World’s Most Energy Efficient Processor to CES 2025
By: Adam Kaufman, Director of Product Marketing
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is one of the largest tech shows in the world, bringing together global innovators and showcasing breakthrough technologies. We’re excited to announce that the Efficient Computer E1 processor has been selected as an Innovation Awards Honoree by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)® at this annual tradeshow. Our breakthrough processor will join the myriad of innovations on display at CES this year. Efficient we will be exhibiting from January 7-10 at Booth 52165 at the Venetian Expo.
We’ll be offering attendees an inside look at our E1 processor, which we will be sampling with customers through our Early Access Silicon Program in Q2 of 2025. E1 is a general-purpose processor that’s up to 100x more energy-efficient than in-market general-purpose processors today. It’s developed based on our novel Fabric architecture, which is a unique approach to general-purpose computation that eliminates the extreme energy overheads of existing general-purpose computer architectures. We're excited to be at the forefront of revolutionizing energy-efficient computing and leading the way in the next wave of technological innovation.
As a CES Innovation Awards® program honoree, our E1 processor was recognized for being a top-scoring product for innovative features within the Computer Hardware & Components category.
This annual competition honors outstanding design and engineering in 33 consumer technology product categories, and this year’s program received a record-breaking 3,400 submissions. The E1 processor was judged by an elite panel of industry expert judges, including members of the media, designers, engineers, and more. Judges based their decisions on innovation, engineering and functionality, aesthetics, and design. We’re grateful to be recognized as a leading innovator at CES, and are excited to be among many other exceptional organizations across all categories.*
The E1 processor’s class-defining energy efficiency enables longer battery lifetimes and expanded capabilities for on-device processing at the edge. For example, a single AA battery can power an Efficient E1 in an embedded sensing application for up to a decade. A smartwatch or health wearable could go weeks instead of days between charges and support more sophisticated sensor data analytics. A remote-sensing satellite could provide high-fidelity data insights using the limited energy of a nanosatellite’s small battery. The possibilities are endless.
With developer-friendly support of mainstream and high-level programming languages, the E1 processor brings efficiency to many use cases. Namely, our effcc compiler seamlessly integrates into the developer build process, enhancing efficiency while providing tools for correctness, debugging, and power/performance estimation. It’s programmable through popular embedded programming languages and AI/ML frameworks, so users can onboard their favorite tools while building intelligent applications that integrate signal processing, data analytics, and general-purpose data processing. We're excited to be at the forefront of revolutionizing energy-efficient computing and leading the way in the next wave of technological innovation.
Come visit us at the Venetian, Hall A, Booth 52165 if you’re interested in learning more about the world's most efficient general-purpose processor. Discover how our chip can revolutionize your computing needs, or if you’d just like to say hello - we’d be happy to chat.
